1st No Show - It’s on us! No worries. We all get busy and forget!
2nd No Show - We hate that we missed your appointment, but we inform you that we are going to charge a $20.00 fee per pet on your next ticket.
3rd No Show - We miss you. Prepayment will be required before another appointment is booked.
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice (24hrs before your appointment), we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time.
As a courtesy, we will send you a friendly reminder text and email 2 days before your service appointment date. You will also receive our call one day prior.
However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals and missed appointments, and the No Show fee.
Early & Late Drop Off
Please drop off your doggo at your scheduled appointment time. Since we provide spa booking by appointment only, dropping off a pet later than it is scheduled might compromise our quality of service once sets us behind our schedule. If you think you may be late for your appointment give us a call. We tolerate no more than 20 minutes late; in this case, your appointment will be canceled.
If your pet is dropped off early this means that we are going to have more dogs in our pet spa, compromising our calm and relaxed environment which can lead to stress for some dogs. If you need to drop off your pet early please give us a call before.
We will provide you with an estimated pickup time during check-in.
Fifteen minutes before your doggo is ready for pick up we will send you a text message.
We do not have boarding facilities. If your dog is not picked up by closing for the day, an additional $50.00 kennel charge may also apply. All dogs brought in grooming must be picked up within 30-45 minutes of the time the client is informed the dog is ready. A fee of $20.00 will be charged for late pick-up.
For your dog’s safety and employees alike, we require that all pets be current on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and parvovirus) before receiving grooming services. Vaccine records can be sent to us at 720.807.5823 or emailed to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also bring it at the time of your appointment. Please contact us if you have any questions or if your veterinarian has provided you with a vaccine exemption.
Payment is due at pick up. Pricing varies for each dog and is determined by size, condition of coat, and services requested. Our prices showed on our Spa Menu are a “begin at” price. An extra fee can be added on top of this price. We can provide you with an estimate at drop-off. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks.
For the safety of your dog and others in the grooming area, dogs with fleas will immediately be given a flea bath. An extra fee for a flea bath will be applied.
Pets with matted coats need extra attention during their grooming session. Mats left in a pet’s coat will only grow tighter and can strangle the pet’s skin. De-matting of severely matted dogs is not offered as one of our services, WGB Boulder does not wish to cause serious or undue stress to your pet. We stand that comfort comes before vanity. If there are just a few mats, we will be happy to help your doggo. An extra fee will be applied for a matt removal. De-matting takes time as must be done slowly and carefully making sure your pet’s skin is not injured during the process.
Senior & Illness Dogs
Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or a pet with health problems. These procedures can expose hidden or aggravate known medical problems, during or after the groom. Because senior pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in a style that will not add to their stress. In the best interest of your pet, this agreement will give WGB permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your pet should it be deemed necessary by WGB. We will do our best to contact you first, then take your pet to your authorized veterinarian or the nearest available veterinarian. It is agreed that all expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the pet’s owner upon signing this agreement. The owner shall be responsible to inform WGB of any Pet’s medical condition.
Shave down will be considered when the dog is severely matted that in our professional opinion the mats cannot be combed or brushed out without causing the pet unnecessary discomfort or distress. Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts, or abrasions due to warts, moles, and skin folds trapped and hidden within the matts. Heavy matting may also trap moisture near the dog’s skin allowing fungus or bacteria to grow. Shaved pets are also prone to sunburn and should either have sunscreen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin.
We likely not be able to provide you with the hairstyle that you would like if your dog is severely matted. An extra fee will be applied for the shave down.
The wellbeing of your pet and the safety of our staff is our priority. Owners must inform if their pet(s) bites, has bitten, is aggressive to people or other pets. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Also, if your pet shows any unsafe behavior over and over again, or any situation mentioned above we reserve the right to refuse/stop services at any time before or during the grooming process. An extra fee will be applied for this situation at the groomer’s discretion.
If we face any situations listed above that compromise the safety for both sides and the groomer has to stop the grooming session before complete the service requested by the client, the client will still be charged for any completed services performed.
